Emily Davis, a student from Cary High School near Raleigh, NC, started a club called “Humans for Justice” and has recently partnered with The Salvation Army’s Project Fight. The program provides comprehensive case management to victims of Human Trafficking.
Retired Salvation Army officer, Major Martin Cooper, is biking 3,000 miles from Oregon to Washington D.C., all while raising awareness and funds in the fight against hunger.
The Royal Mint in the United Kingdom is issuing a special £5 coin honoring 150 years of The Salvation Army. It is believed that this is the first Salvation Army coin created by an official mint.
