The Yippie Foundation is pleased to announce that the 2014 “Sunset in the Gardens” fundraiser will be Friday, May 9thfrom 5:30 -8:00 pm in the beautiful Buck Mansion gardens in Vacaville. Chef Daniel will be providing heavy appetizers. Participants will have the opportunity to meet many of the Yippie students who are enrolled in the eleven-month Yippie Yogurt Youth Job Training Program. A silent auction and raffle will help support the Yippie programs.

Yippie stands for ‘Youth Initiating Professional Preparedness in Employment.’ The Yippie Foundation is a local Solano County 501 (c) 3 nonprofit whose mission is to provide students with workforce development with marketable job readiness skills, food handler’s license, CPR and first aid certificates, mentoring, paid work experience at the Yippie Yogurt Shop, job placement and confidence.
