TRAFC - Travis Regional Armed Forces Committee

It is the mission of the Travis Regional Armed Forces Committee to maintain liaison with the personnel at Travis Air Force Base, to promote the mission of the base to the community, and to enhance the importance of this facility as an instrument of national security. This will be accomplished by facilitating communications between the military and the civilian community and by providing a point of contact for support and recognition of the men and women of the Armed Forces.

Philip VelezTravis Regional Armed Forces Committee Phil Velez joined the Travis RAB in 2003. Phil served in intelligence, administration and social work positions with the U.S. Army for 26 years before retiring to public life in Vacaville. Phil is co-founder and member of the Travis Regional Armed Forces Committee and an honorary member of the Vacaville Chamber of Commerce. Phil is also chairman of the Vacaville celebration of the 61st Reunion of the Jimmy Doolittle Raid.
